Lazy lately.

I figured when deadlines are little away and i cannot see others working, i also tend to lose up. I don't like that because i know there are so much to do. The plus side is that i bought a new dell computer, with a 20-inch wide-screen LCD monitor. I put it in the center of my desk at home. It really becomes a little like a home entertainment studio. I also vacummed the entire home today and through out the trash. A party is on the way. but I should still focus my eyes on projects at work.

这两天Mix也不放什么好歌，倒是soft rock有时候的放的歌还不错。这首歌是摇滚乐队Aerosmith在1973的作品，现在听来还是那么有震撼力～不过要有比较好的音响听起来才过瘾欧.我在车里听完了，再在计算机的小破音箱上听，觉得后者大为失色。

回家的路上NPR播放了纪念口琴演奏家Larry Adler的一段采访录音。里面有一句话我竟然再几个小时之后想起来了。Larry Adler讲述了他从Jack Benny那里学到了让他一生难望的两个字，"Don't Press"。他解释说，作为一个entertainer当观众不喜欢你的时候，你总想着加倍努力去取悦他们。而Jack Benny的建议正好相反，他说你要放松，坚持自己的风格，等待观众慢慢地发现你。Larry以他狡黠而快捷的语调说，"boy, that's a hard lesson to learn”。 很喜欢Larry Adler的谈吐，可惜此人已经去世了。

Gustavo Santaolalla是一个非常出色作曲家, 在为<<摩托日记>>作曲之后就引起人们的注意. 我留意到他是因为我买的断背山的sound track CD, 发现非常好, 才查到这位作曲家. 这首歌整张CD中我最喜欢的两首之一. 我起初觉得Teddy的嗓音稍过婉转, 但总的来说他驾轻就熟. 歌写的简洁但有韵味, 是timeless的良作.
